LEAD LEVEL DEFINITION

Part of our service includes the supply of general leads from Brides requesting certain product and/or service information within certain areas.  These requests are taken from Brides via a web form and stored into our database for 2 weeks. You may then access these requests with your customer number and password via our Online Lead Service.

To allow you to quickly identify which requests suit your business the most, we categorise each request with a Lead Level number ranging from 2 to 5.  Because you log into the Online Lead Service with your specific details, we can indicate how specific these requests are to your business by comparing the Bride request with  your advertising profile with us. For example, if you see a Level 5 request on one lead, this may well be a Level 2, 3, or 4 for another business. The advertising profiles that are compared are your areas of coverage and categories of business. Another part of the advertising profile that can be set up is the "Email general Bridal requests". Select the "Please Email Specific Leads" for us to email you with exact matches, otherwise please select "Do not email leads".

The levels are defined as follows:-

LEAD LEVEL EXAMPLE
Level 5 This level means that the request is NOT in your area and NOT in your line of service or product. These leads are still important to some businesses because they can deliver state-wide, for example, you may provide mail-order products, honeymoon destinations, online web services etc. Therefore, look for requests with Level 5 and respond to these leads.
Level 4 This level means that the request is NOT in your area but is requesting your line of service or product. Ideal for businesses that are not geographically dependent and can service different areas. Usually product suppliers fall into this category. Therefore, look for requests with Level 4 and respond to these leads.
Level 3 This level means that the request is in your area but NOT requesting your line of service or product. Ideal for cross-selling. Usually businesses that have unique services uses this Level so that they can outline to the Bride about a service that they may have overlooked. Because the feedback is unsolicited, we request that you keep your message brief and get them to request further information if interested.
Level 2 These are the most direct leads to your business, Brides seeking your product or service in your area. These requests can also be emailed to you (set this up in your Advertising profile).

Important
note when sending email responses to Bridal requests.
One in every three Brides will be reading your emails via Dial-up.  On a dial-up connection at 30Kb/s, a 100Kb file will take 30-60 seconds to download. We believe 60 seconds is long enough time to wait, so please ensure that your attachments do not exceed 100Kb when responding to leads.  If you need to include files larger than 100Kb, please add them to your website and provide a link to that file in your email. Alternatively, convert your file to PDF format which normally reduces the size.
